Course + Parking + Shuttles
The Course
Fast. Flat. And in the dark! The unique setting of a full Harvest Moon, coupled with an evening time trail run on the Mopac Trail has made this a ‘must run’ event for Nebraska runners each fall and sells out quickly. The Harvest Moon Hustle is part of the Born & Raced In Nebraska Series.
Arrival: Parking + Shuttles
Due to ongoing residential development within Elmwood, in-town parking availability for this year’s Harvest Moon Hustle will be more limited than in previous years.
To accommodate all participants, athletes will be assigned to one of two parking options:
- Elmwood Parking – In town parking within walking distance of the start line.
- Eagle Raceway Shuttle Parking – Participants will park at Eagle Raceway and ride a complimentary shuttle to and from Elmwood. The shuttle ride is approximately 10 minutes each way.
Athletes assigned to Eagle Raceway parking should plan to arrive early enough to allow time for shuttle transportation before the race. Shuttle buses will operate before and after the event to transport participants between Eagle Raceway and Elmwood.
Each athlete’s assigned parking location will be communicated in pre-race emails and will also be printed on race envelopes at packet pickup. Please follow your assigned parking instructions to help ensure a smooth race-day experience for everyone.
Elmwood Parking
Elmwood, Nebraska
Athletes parking in Elmwood will be parking in on-street parking in town and walking a short distance to the start line area.
- Arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race (7:00 PM Race Start). Add 15 minutes if you also still need to pickup your packet.
- Arrive early in anticipation of increased traffic due to home high school football game
- Follow signs and parking attendant instructions.
- Please car pool whenever possible to help reduce congestion.
Shuttle Bus Parking
Eagle Raceway, 617 S 238th Street, Eagle, Nebraska
Athletes using the shuttle buses will be transported between Eagle Raceway and the Elmwood start line before and after the race.
Pre-Race Shuttles: 5:30pm to 6:38pm
Post-Race Shuttles: 8:00pm to 10:00pm
