The unique setting of the Mopac Trail East in Elmwood, NE will play host to the 2nd annual Harvest Moon Hustle powered by BODY INNOVATIONS - a 10k trail run that breaks the mold of your traditional weekend road races with a Friday night start! Our passion for running and desire to change the landscape of the Lincoln and Omaha running community with a fun, inexpensive hometown type run gave birth to this idea. 

A full Harvest Moon provides a perfect opportunity for a night trail run. The flat, fast out-and-back course will be a great setting for the elite division to push the pace, while giving open division runners a perfect opportunity to set a PR, or simply enjoy the cool night air. There are approximately 5 bridge crossings on the 10K course! We hope to have the route accurately measured and finalized soon, as soon as we have both of these things finalized, a full description and map will be posted.  The 10K group will take off before sunset, with the 5K group following 5 minutes later. Runners are asked to wear headlamps as they will be finishing in the dark. 

Following the race we hope you will join us for the after-party and awards show at Josoff's Social Hall just down the street in Elmwood! We will have post race refreshments at the park, but the real fun won't start until everyone heads to the Social Hall. There will be a live band, beer and dinner served! Our goal is that you will make a night of it and stick around following the awards banquet!
